Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is an NDIS‑funded support that gives you a safe place to stay temporarily when your long-term home isn’t ready yet. Who Can Access MTA Services?
MTA is available for NDIS participants who are waiting for their long-term home to become available, for example, while home modifications are being carried out, or while waiting for their Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) place to open.
- You need to have a confirmed long-term home you plan to move into.
- You must not be able to stay in your current accommodation while you wait.
- The MTA stay is generally funded by NDIS for up to 90 days.
